This 2025 anthology of essays about American Universalism brings together 27 academics, thinkers, and writers to re-examine the foundational principles of the United States at a time when they are under assault. I was delighted to serve as line editor, contributor liaison, and copy editor on these fascinating works.  

Released in 2024, The Joy You Make held special meaning for my colleague Steven Petrow, and I was honored to work on it with him.

I have been privileged to work with Steven Petrow on many projects, especially this one, where he was gracious enough to put my name on the cover.

I worked with Brian Sroub at Hearst New Media when electronic publishing really was "new" media. I relived the experience when I provided some editing help on his memoir.

More project management and contributor wrangling than line editing, my role on this book (from Elsevier, and not exactly my area of expertise) was a test of fortitude! 

I have written book proposals, and assisted with writing and editing on several other uncredited projects. I can talk about them in person, but not here!
